With branches in Hampden, Rockport, West Bath, Waterville, Houlton, and Presque Isle, we are able to provide superior service to the entire state of MaineSummaryThe Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliationThis role ensures that all outstanding balances are accurately recorded, payments are received promptly, and customer inquiries regardi ng billing are addressed in a timely manner.DutiesGenerate and distribute invoices to customers accurately and on time.Monitor incoming payments and apply them to appropriate customer accounts.Follow-up on overdue accounts to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.Address customer concerns or disputes related to invoicing or payment discrepancies.Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging, cash flow, and collection activity.Collaborate with finance team to forecast cash flow and assist with budgeting processes.Identify opportunities to streamline accounts receive processes and assist in implementing changes to enhance collection efforts & improve efficiency.QualificationsProven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial roles.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft office suite, especially Excel.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to accounts receivable.Skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).Teamwork centric mindset with a collaborative attitude towards achieving department and company goals.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving abilities Independent Issue Resolution Work ConditionsClimate controlled, office environmentRepetitive hand and wrist motion, use of computers and internal office equipment BenefitsWe are proud to offer a robust benefits package to our Team Members including:
