This position assists the facilities manager in ensuring that the credit union's building systems and equipment are functioning properly and are maintained in excellent condition.
The facilities assistant relays to the facilities manager, any issues encountered at any Maine Savings property to assist in defining solutions and prioritizing needs.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in facilities and properties maintenance, experience with HVAC, sprinkler and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of plumbing and electrical is a must.
This position will be on-call as required and will have occasional evening and weekend hours.
Driving to Maine Savings locations is required.

The successful candidate will be PC proficient and have a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word and Excel.
